Use for: Feverfew is used for prevention of migraine, fever, headache, arthritis, muscular tension, swollen feet and menstrual irregularities.
Concerns: Feverfew is mostly safe in appropriate doses up to 4 months. Adverse effects are rare with a little gastrointestinal upset and mouth ulceration as well as unpleasant taste, loss of taste, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. Post-feverfew syndrome with sudden withdrawal of feverfew of tension, nervousness, fatigue and joint aches was reported in one study. Avoid using on pregnancy and lactation.
