Vitamin K2, the Menaquinones (MK) is made by bacteria in human gut or can be obtained from foods (eg. cheese, natto).
Use for: Vitamin K2 would be used for bone health management (eg. osteoporosis) or cardiovascular health management by decreasing arterial stiffness.
Safety: Vitamin K2 can be safely used within appropriate usage. Up to 45mg for 2 years could be safe in some clinical trials.
Concerns: Vitamin K2 is generally well tolerated in appropriate use.
Do not take it on pregnancy or breastfeeding.
